Dr. Janet Mah
Dr. Mah is passionate about empowering parents in their journey towards cultivating children to be their best.
She has over 15 years of professional experience in clinical assessment, treatment, research, teaching, and consultation for children, youth, and families. She is an active staff psychologist and principal investigator at B.C. Children’s Hospital & Research Institute, and a clinical assistant professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
Dr. Mah has served families in many settings across Canada, including at Cornerstone Child & Family Psychology Clinic, Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children and Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) teams in BC, the I.W.K. Health Centre in Halifax NS, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto, ON.
She is fluent in English and has basic conversational Cantonese. She is a proud mother of 2, and enjoys the scenic outdoors, yummy eats, worldwide travels, and community service through her church.
Dr. Mah is a Psychologist
with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (Registrant #2000).
